Even though I am well beyond school aged, I still long for the days when my mom and I would shop for school supplies. I'm not the only one who is still obsessed with notebooks, pens and post-its, right?! Sometimes I wish I was still in school. I know, bite my tongue! School was not all it was cracked up to be. Movies that Move You: Like Crazy

For anyone who is in love or who has been in love or who wants to be in love, I recommend that you see Like Crazy. It's a truly intimate portrayal of young love and all its ups and downs. The film is beautifully shot and perfectly acted (all the dialogue is improvised, so amazing!). Like Crazy gives you a charming yet bittersweet view on love. And all its "gory bits".

Look Forward to Fall

I don't know about you but I am ready for the cooler weather! I probably say that at the end of every summer but this summer's humidity was off the charts. I want cozy sweaters, scarves and warm, rich, deep colors to occupy my wardrobe once again. The outfit above is definitely my go-to ensemble for the fall and winter season. I'd wear this apple picking or to a haunted house or through a corn maze. Basically, I just love fall!

Color Scheme of the Month: Beige

For August I choose the color beige for my color scheme of the month series. I feel that beige is a nice color to end the summer with. It's a simple reminder of the beach, the golden sand and ultimately the summer season itself.
