Color Inspiration: black beach, white sea

The moment I saw this picture on Pinterest, I knew it had to be featured in this edition of Color Inspiration. It has an obvious dark and brooding quality to it but I also think it's very beautiful. I wouldn't want to go swimming there or anything haha but it would be nice to look at from afar!

Color Inspiration: Purple, Blue & Green

I absolutely fell in love with this picture the moment I saw it on Pinterest. I obviously pinned it and kept it in the back of my mind for my next Color Inspiration. The colors in this photo are so striking and vibrant, right? Almost electric. It doesn't even look real, as if it's inside some video game or animated film. Whatever it is, I just want to be there and soak in all the color. Don't you?!

Today's post is the first in a series about color. I think when it comes down to it, color is what inspires me the most. The painting featured below contains some of the prettiest colors I have seen. It reminds me of summer, at the beach, and eating snow cones. Take a look, it's too delicious! Share your favorite color inspirations in the comments!
